Fence SittingWho we are and who we have become is an issue that is likely as old as time itself. As children, we were able to sit on the fence, so to speak, when this issue came up. We could imitate our parents, teachers or any other role model at our disposal and that was acceptable. We were bound only by school rules and our parents’ notions of what was right and wrong. So, we followed them, or tried to, anyway, weighing the pros and cons of our actions. As we got older, the cons seemed to lessen and gradually, a week without T.V. no longer seemed so severe.
